Okay, the old Ectozone board ran for three years. Some people had hundreds of posts on it. Maybe you don't like looking like a newbie again?
The bad news? PhpBB does not let you adjust post counts in the Admin Control Panel.
The good news? You can change the post counts in the MySQL database dedicated to this board. And since it's my database, I can do it.
I'm not going to go into the database every time someone new signs up, especially not here at first because hopefully that will be lots of people  My plan is to check about once a day, probably in the evening, and add whatever post counts I need to all at once.
Here's the list of users of the old board with post counts as of August 24, 2007:
