Well, all the Valentine candy is on clearance, so goodbye to the sugar shock for another year. So get used to the old green and black--it's here until October.

So, another one joins the Pony squad. But I did think you'd make an effort for April Fool's Day.

I hear it's good, yeah, but frankly some of the crazy antics of fans have made me a little leery of it. Not really a good excuse, I know, but I gotta filter stuff somehow. I do think it's hilarious how one of my best friends has gone completely nuts over it, but his wife won't even watch it.

I've never seen MLP (as the fans call it) either, so I'm not judging anyone who watches it. I just happen to think it's curious (as do most people who've never seen it, and I daresay some who have) that so many adult males seem to like it. You're not in its target audience, Fritz, but you're certainly in what seems to be the key demographic. When I was little, I used my pocket money to buy My Little Ponies second-hand from this wonderful used-and-new toyshop that closed down a long time ago, and took my childhood with it. But I had no idea at the time it was a TV show. Of course, that was back in the 80s, when possibly the show wasn't good enough to be such a man trap. Or perhaps it was - I wouldn't know. But I did once have the conversation every little girl has to put up with. ADULT: What's that? CHILD: It's My Little Pony. ADULT: Oh, it's your little pony, is it? Fools.

I like the show, I think it's cute. If you couldn't tell from some of my art threads that is... Skip to the first two episodes of Season Two if you're a fan of Star Trek (particularly TNG) and zaniness, trust me, it's worth watching and you'll understand why very quickly. Then watch the first two episodes of Season One if you care to keep watching. It should all by up on YouTube because the Hub kind of realized the fans were driving a lot of their profits. Who has money to buy toys? Nerds have money to buy toys (mostly).
