I liked the RGB one and The Slimer one. Those are my favorites.

The Real Ghostbusters. And not because those were the better seasons (IMO, of course)...I like that there is some focus on Janine, and that Slimer is given just *enough* attention, and the part where each guy pulls out their particle thrower in the time to the music always gives me goosebumps. I LOVE that part. And the ending.
As for Slimer and the Real Ghostbusters --
Flaws are as follows...
* Too much Slimer * Why are we introduced to Professor Dweeb and his little rugrat dog before we are intoduced to the guys? * Ma girl Janine gets NO play...I mean a wave in the back? C'mon!! *The ghost is too fat *When the guys are walking toward the screen at the end it looks to cutesy...corny as hell... *Every time Slimer went "and me, and meeeee!" I always closed my eyes in a slow blink and let out a huge sigh. It was just really annoying.
I DID like the variety of ghosts it showed and the little wave from Peter...love that part. But that's it.
Not a big EGB fan but I did appreciate the effort...sorta...I like the music...like the way the guitar comes in at the beginning...quite cool...
Just to clarify, Ray Parker Jr. DID NOT sing the lyrics for the TRG, but sang them for SLIMER and TRG?? Because it sure sounds like him in TRG!! I don't understand why they would not have used him from the get-go...

I don't understand why they would not have used him from the get-go... Not sure. In the credits for RGB, the opening theme has always been credited to "John Smith", who I thought sounded a little bit huskier than Ray Parker Jr. but definitely similar enough. I heard once that it may have been due to the lawsuit with Huey Lewis at the time that prevented Parker (or his voice) from doing RGB. Or, as in the case of Ernie Hudson losing out to voice Winston, DiC just didn't want Parker early on.

RGB, all the way. Yes, Slimer, we KNOW you're in S&TRGBs, you don't have to remind us. Plus, it seemed the guys were added as an afterthought, after we saw Slimer's other/new buddies.

EDIT: just noticed that I miss read the title of this thread in my hast, so now the thread it totally and irrevocably off topic, sorry 'bout that. I tried to pick the most relevant thread for this and picked this one because as we know, Fritz's fav ep is "Chicken He Clucked". Now I love the show Bones, and I hope some of you guys out there do to. I missed Thursday's ep and just watched it on Hulu, and I have to say, I am sorry I missed it til now! It definately looks like some of the writer's there are familiar with Fritz's fav ep! This last ep was about a 'chicken man' and a protest about the aweful smell a chicken plant gives off to the neighborhood. This pic. is a comparison of an artist rendering of a corpse and a photo of a missing person...See if he looks familiar, lol! http://img5.imageshack.us/i/chickenman.jpg/
